CRITUM

Additive for concrete manufacturing, improving some important mechanic characteristics, lowering cement consume and ergo, cost.

Resistances to compression from 200 until 2500 kg/cm2. Volumetric weight as much as 30% less than traditional concrete. Null water absorption. It takes 75% from its resistance in 24 hours after placing. It takes less time to harden than traditional concrete. Resistance to corrosion. The planting process is the same as traditional concrete manufacturing.

Critum is a mineral additive with puzolanic effect that reacts with the free cement lime. Is an extremely fine mineral product with spherical particles. Generally it is use between 5 and 15% of weight from cement materials to lower cement amount or to reach higher resistances which concrete cannot reach without additives.

Thanks to its high chemical reactivity, critum lowers superficial tension of mix water allowing a superior dispersion of materials, obtaining this way a high quality product with a resistance development in a shorter period of time. Thanks to the critum oxides they establish chemical bridges with cement, accelerates resistance acquisitions without lowering concrete fluidity.

• Critum have in its formulation a series of fibers that allows the increase of resistances to compound flexion, cutting and efforts; also they are inert to all cement chemical compounds, making sure a better durability.
• It allows a reduction of the capillary gaps in the material and It doesn't contain chlorides.
• The use of Critum complies with all Mexican and international norms for high range concrete use. Also complies with ASTM C494 norms type F and ASTM C 1017 type I.
• Critum can be used to reduce the consume of conventional cement and prefabricates without affecting design resistance. That's why it has the capacity to generate savings in cost per m³ of concrete.
• Concretes elaborated with Critum are characterized for its low additive/cement relation, an elevate fluidity, and also an optimal cohesion and a very easy self-consolidating.

• Conventional concretes.
• High resistance design concrete.
• High resistance initial concrete.
• Prefabricated concretes.
